"he sees God's face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state"
Job 33:26
Thank you Jesus!
Hannah's Dr appt went very well. The Dr was very nice and asked a lot of questions. She wound up not having to get an MRI! He measured all of our heads and decided big heads are something we are passing on to our kids! He explained some things to us and then looked at the ultra-sound images we had brought along. He had an idea of what was going on before he even looked at the pictures. As he breezed through the dozen or so ultra-sound images he nodded his head and occasionaly paused and said "yeah, theres some extra fluid" When he was done he explained that her extra fluid is on the outside of her brain...this is a good thing in the realm of extra fluid. There is nothing we can do about it, she will most likely "grow out of it" He said chances are Roger and/or I had this same thing when we were younger...due to our large heads. It tends to "peak" at 12-18 months... so her head might continue to grow "larger than normal" for the next few months. At the 12-18 month mark the growth will level out or even drop (I don' mean her head will shrink, I mean percentile wise she could go from 104% at 18 months to 99% at 20 months) She is scheduled to go back to Hershey in October for a check up and will probably go again 3 months after that. We need to be careful about rough games where her head is jarred around. Thats do-able! :) So overall we have a healthy happy baby girl! She will be fine, no MRI, no surgery, no overnight stays at hospitals! God is so good!
